New Website Company
On Thursday, August 20, the Saint Mary's website was transfered to a new hosting company. As a result, the site was down most of the day. There are still some pages and images that are not uploaded yet, so we ask for your patience as we continue the upgrade. Email addresses for administrators, teachers, and staff are not working. They will be active again sometime on Friday, August 21. If you have emailed someone at Saint Mary's and have not received a response, please resend it once the emails are active again. A note will be posted on the blog once this has happened. If you have any questions, please contact Rob Lepage at mr.lepage@gmail.com. Labels: announcements, news, website

Auction
To the families of our wonderful students... Let's get together and focus on the success of our annual auction/raffle and how you can help! Please join us for a special auction/raffle meeting at 6:00pm on April 1, 2009 in the STMHS Guidance Office. Please come and share your thoughts and ideas. This event is already big - and together we can bring it to another level! And remember, all monies raised helps keep our tuition the most affordable of all regional parochial schools! We are asking that we have 100% participation - whether you share ideas, help set up, donate auction/raffle items, assist on Auction Day, and most importantly, attend the event! The auction is May 2 from 5-9pm. We need you! Please come to the meeting! Any questions or comments can be emailed to ktjaszek@yahoo.com. Labels: announcements, fundraising, parents, PIC

Tease Family Benefit
A benefit will be held for Bobby Tease, father of one of our students, who is quite ill. It will take place on Sunday, January 25 from 1-5pm at West Springfield/Agawam Elks Lodge 2174 which is located at 428 Morgan Road in West Springfield. There will be food, music, and a raffle. Tickets are $20.00 are available in the main office. Please keep the Tease family in your prayers. Here is one prayer for the sick you might use: Loving God, we pray today for all those who are sick or injured. Let your hand of healing and protection be upon them. When they feel afraid, give them courage and strength. When they feel alone, send them someone who can be present to them. When they feel confused, give them reassurance and direction. When they are in pain, send them caregivers who can ease their suffering. May all who are sick know that you are with them today. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. Labels: announcements

Welcome!
The new Saint Mary High School website went online this evening. We've made many wonderful changes, although there are many still to come. Some important notes: All of our pages have been updated for the fall. Our school calendar is ready along with sports schedules, course listings, and current faculty. There will be further updates up to the middle of August so check back again before school begins for the latest information.
We've added an alumni section that we hope to expand this year.
This blog will serve as a way to communicate the latest news. If you have an RSS reader, a link to the site feed is located in the left menu. If you are a current student or the parent of a current student you will find this page helpful in keeping up with what's happening at STM. If you are a prospective student or parent, this page will give you a glimpse into our daily lives.
Mr. Lepage serves as our school webmaster. He is always looking for ideas and suggestions. Also, if you see any errors, please let him know. He can be contacted at school or by email at mr.lepage [at] gmail.com.
