Yearbook Information
This year you can order your Yearbook online by going to the Yearbook Order Center. The cost is $55 and goes up $10 if you order after October 23. Another new feature is the ability to upload your own photos that can be considered for use in the yearbook. There is a flier that lists all the information here. Two Date Changes
Two important events have been changed: PARENTS BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT: Because Westfield Day at the Big E is this Thursday, we have moved Back to School Night to Wednesday, September 30. Back to School Night is an opportunity for parents to come to school and follow their son/daughter's schedule in order to meet each teacher, receive information about classes, and ask questions. It is not a night for conferences with teachers but an opportunity to meet them and get acquainted with class policies and content. COLLEGE PLANNING NIGHT: This event has been moved to Wednesday, October 7 in order to accommodate the speakers and presenters. More information is available here. Auction
To the families of our wonderful students... Let's get together and focus on the success of our annual auction/raffle and how you can help! Please join us for a special auction/raffle meeting at 6:00pm on April 1, 2009 in the STMHS Guidance Office. Please come and share your thoughts and ideas. This event is already big - and together we can bring it to another level! And remember, all monies raised helps keep our tuition the most affordable of all regional parochial schools! We are asking that we have 100% participation - whether you share ideas, help set up, donate auction/raffle items, assist on Auction Day, and most importantly, attend the event! Parent Conferences
Parent / Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 1:00 - 3:00. Students do not have school on this day since it is an in-service day for teachers. Parents Back to School Night
Parents Back to School Night will be held on Thursday, October 2 at 6:30pm. The intent of this evening is to afford parents the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the school and their child's teachers. This evening is not for individual conferences. To begin the evening, parents will be given a copy of their son or daughter's schedule and a map of the building. Then parents will travel from class to class meeting each of their child's teachers, getting to know them, the content of their courses, grading policies, classroom procedures, and upcoming projects. Bonus Bucks
From October 3, 2008 - April 2, 2009, Saint Mary High School will have the opportunity to earn cash through Stop and Shop's A+ BonusBucks program. All you have to do is fill out a registration card. If you do not have one, you can email the information to Mrs. Jaszek. Every time you shop at Stop and Shop, you can earn cash for Saint Mary High School. Even your friends and family can join in this easy fundraiser! All of these efforts help to keep our tuition rate the lowest in the region. Student Handbook
The Student Handbook for the 2008-09 school year has been posted here. It is required reading for all parents and students. The last page needs to be signed and returned by September 12, 2008. If you have any questions, please call the school at 413-568-5692.
