Dress Code

Young Women

Dress pants including khakis and capri pants; collared blouses, polo shirts, turtlenecks, sweaters; shoes, sneakers, sandals, flip-flops

  

Young Men

Dress pants (including khakis); Dress shirts, sweaters with collared shirts underneath, polo shirts, turtlenecks with sweaters and turtleneck sweaters; Shoes, sneakers, sandals, flip-flops.

  

Hooded Sweatshirts

Hooded sweatshirts may be worn any day provided that they have STM logos (including varsity sports sweatshirts and STM school activities sweatshirts, and those sweatshirts which are purchased from STM).

  

These items of clothing are not allowed:

Dresses, skirts, and jumpers of any kind; jeans of any color; no shorts (Bermuda shorts will be allowed by the administration on days to be announced); no pants with frayed edges and no sweatsuits; no t-shirts; no hats, bandanas, visors, coats, gloves, mittens, or ear warmers; earrings in ears only (no earrings in noses, lips, eyebrows, tongues, belly buttons); no midriffs, no spaghetti strap tank tops or blouses.

  

Dress Down Days

During a dress down day, students may not wear clothing with holes, rips, or shirts with inappropriate messages. Also, no writing on the bottom of pants.

  

If a student's attire is deemed inappropriate, then demerits may be issued. Parents and guardians will then be asked to deliver an appropriate outfit or STM will provide a polo shirt to cover the inappropriate attire. All clothing must be neat and presentable. All undersized or oversized clothing will not be tolerated. The administration can make changes to this dress code at their discretion.
